Raftaroo Terms & Conditions

Raftaroo operates a technology platform that enables users of the Service to arrange and schedule transportation services, logistics services, and/or delivery services with third-party independent contractors ("Captains"). Raftaroo's role is strictly limited to providing the platform for connecting users and Captains.

Service "As Is"

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." Raftaroo disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, not expressly set out in these terms.

• To use most aspects of the Services, you must register for and maintain an active personal user Service account, requiring your name, email, and mobile phone number.
• You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to obtain an Account.
• You agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in your Account. Failure to do so may result in termination of your account.

• Fare Calculation: Fares are determined based on the user's offer, distance, vehicle type, and the final negotiated price accepted by both the Customer and the Captain.
• Bidding System: The Customer submits an offer (fare) which Captains can accept or counter-offer. The final fare is binding upon mutual acceptance.
• Cancellation Fee: A cancellation fee (typically PKR 50–100) may be charged if a ride is cancelled after a Captain has accepted and is en route for more than 5 minutes. This fee is credited to the Captain's wallet.
• Wallet Payments: If the Customer pays via Wallet, the full fare is deducted from the Wallet upon ride completion.

• Independent Contractor Status: Captains acknowledge they are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of Raftaroo.
• Commission: Raftaroo charges a 15% commission fee on the final accepted fare for every successfully completed ride/delivery, deducted from the Captain's in-app Wallet.
• Wallet Requirement: Captains must maintain a positive Wallet balance sufficient to cover the commission before accepting a ride.
• Service Requirements: Captains must maintain valid documents (License, Registration, CNIC) and ensure their vehicle is roadworthy.
• GPS Tracking: Captains agree to allow real-time GPS tracking when set to 'Active' status and during an ongoing trip.

• Prohibited Items: Users must not request the transport of illegal, stolen, hazardous, flammable, explosive, or excessively valuable items (over PKR 10,000).
• Liability Limit: Raftaroo's maximum liability for loss or damage to goods or cargo is strictly limited to PKR 10,000 per booking.
• Inspection Right: Captains reserve the right to decline or request inspection of any parcel if they have reasonable suspicion of prohibited contents.

Raftaroo may terminate these Terms or any Services with respect to you at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms.
• Engagement in fraudulent activity (e.g., fake rides, exploiting the bidding system).
• Misconduct towards a Captain or Customer.
